The New Hill Community Association, Inc. is an alliance of neighbors in the historic community of New Hill, North Carolina.

Our mission is to preserve and sustain the unique quality of life in our area by facilitating interaction between citizens. We are committed to resisting condemnation of property for facilities that will not benefit our community, and advancing our common interests by acting as a group with neighboring communities.

The Western Wake Partners (WWP), made up of the towns of Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Morrisville have condemned a 200 acre family farm in the heart of historic New Hill for the purpose of building their regional sewage plant. This is not in keeping with the mission to preserve the historic nature of New Hill.

At cost to taxpaying citizens of several hundred thousand dollars, the WWP hired an engineering firm to research several sites for the sewage plant. The New Hill Community Association believes the towns’ staffs and elected officials have acted unfairly and unethically in selecting the site in New Hill. We also believe your taxes were wasted because the site in New Hill was selected without regard to the engineering study. The decision to put the sewage plant in New Hill was made in secret meetings with no input from anyone in New Hill. We have compiled a record of the actions that the WWP took to put the site in historic New Hill.
